In partnership with St. Louis CITY SC and private donors, “Dogtown” is home to the first enclosed futsal court in the city. The court is fully fenced in, unlike the nearby court in Marquette Park.

Dogtown community member JoJo Prapaisilapa and Alderman Bret Narayan proposed the free, low-cost resource court in Franz Park.

With the help of Joe Jovanovich, member of the Dogtown United board, St. Louis CITY SC, St. Louis Parks + Recreation, MADE STL, and the local community, there is now an illuminated futsal court in downtown Dogtown. Like Marquette Park, this court is complete with a mural designed by local artist Jayvn Solomon.

With the momentum from St. Louis CITY SC, the community anticipates that kids will see these courts and park renovations as their new playgrounds, popping up all over St. Louis.
